All babies have different preferences, but these 10 toys regularly interested my twins and I feel guilty helped them really their milestones or kept them happy.
- O Ball – Easy to grab and encourages reaching, grabbing, and holding
- Stick Man – Sparks interest and encourages tracking, holding, and shaking
- Black and White High Contrast Cards – Encourages focus and tracking
- Activity Centers both standing and laying
- Teethers
- Talking Bear – Putting this on demo mode was some days the only way I was able to go to the bathroom without them crying. It also kept them intrigued during tummy time.
- Ferris Wheel – Catches their eye and encourages reaching and the beginnings of cause and effect
- Books such as board books, crinkle books and special shout out to PopUp Peekaboo. These gain interest, introduce new words, and my babies loved to touch and turn pages
- Toys with tags such as the Mary Meyer toys. They would suck on these toys for long stretches.
- Soft stacking Blocks with flaps– Teaches cause and effect with trying to knock over, teaches holding as they try to suck on the flaps
