Strollers

I would bet that I spent the most hours deciding on a stroller. The options are endless but I had a hard time figuring out which options people actually liked. Between social media, twin forums, reddit, and other blogs I saw the same four strollers get most of the hype. So here are the pros and cons for those top 4 options. I will preface this by saying these are all on the steep side when it comes to price. If you’re interested in these but it’s out of your budget, perhaps check Facebook marketplace for a used one.

Mountain Buggy Duet

Pros:

  1. Has twin-specific attachments like the Carrycot Plus for Twins
  2. A side-by-side stroller with the width of a single stroller at can fit through doors
  3. Has the ability to make it car-seat compatable
  4. Has a hand break if you live in a hilly area
  5. Has the ability to add on a scooter function for an older child
  6. Wheels are more of an all-terrain option

Cons:

  1. Bulky so check your car measurements to make sure it’d fit
  2. The great twin attachments cost extra

Uppababy Vista

Pros:

  1. Narrow wheelbase so great option for city life
  2. Has the ability to add a scooter function for older child
  3. Has the option to use bassinets
  4. Has the option to use a car seat adapter

Cons:

  1. This is a stacked stroller instead of a side-by-side so one bag is harder to see
  2. Bulky so check your car measurements to make sure it would fit.

Zoe

Pros:

  1. Has the ability to have this work for triplets or quads
  2. A side-by-side stroller than can fit through standard doorways

Cons:

  1. The wheels don’t do well on rough terrain
  2. It can only hold one carseat at a time

Bugaboo Donkey

This was a popular one when I was shopping. I decided against it for a few reasons but it looks like the 5 has been discontinued as of January 2026. A new version may be coming out but as of date of publication, this isn’t a feasible option.

One last thing to consider is that some people recommend getting two, cheap single umbrella strollers for when you’re with your partner in public stores for easier maneuverability.
